It's a Saturday morning after block test. I'm actually in no mood to tap on the keyboard and stare at this enervating screen. Still it's impossible to escape the deathly lure of the computer the moment I switch glances to the many empty boxes in my IandI and Fact to Fiction.
Whatever, I shall write with my eyes closed.
Spent my day watching TV and reading novels, to satiate the hunger for them during the period of studying for Block Test. It's ironical how the desire for these things quickly subside when I have free access to them.

Cooped in my room and trying to do work. I still have much stuff left to complete within uhm 1 day? Seems rather impossible sheesh.
The weather has been really freaky nowadays. A prolonged dry spell with unusually high temperatures ended abruptly this week and voila, major downpours came and days are cold enough for an occasional cup of hot tea. Red tea with sugar and no milk that is(:
Reasons
Awake at this unearthly hour (to me) discussing on msn what to do for chem alternative assessment.
Too much stuff to do over the hols.
do you
Vexed by what I want. My regrets
fixation
The first 2 days of school felt like a cheap summer holiday camp.
That isnt a derisive comment, cheap holiday camps are not always bad, just that it is really the only apt description. Spent almost the whole of yesterday seeking assistance from the Singtel customer care on the phone and running between my two computers to put my wireless connection back to working order. The songs and advertisements played when they put you on hold nearly drove me nuts.
Junk

That's what i have been doing this few days, junk-reading.
Movie reviews. Ikea catalogues. Lopsided romances. Vodka recipes. And so forth.
Stories of love and wasting that leaves my skin tingling.
As usual, a new post with a new skin.

I was reading a magazine and to my surprise, on the column where they put travel recommendations, they were talking about Singapore!
They introduced some mysterious and exotic-sounding places like uh Sultan Road (cant remember) and inserted some scenic pictures of beaches. What really caught my eye was when the columnist gushed about kaya toast. Actually, the writer did not even write kaya toast, it was "bread with coconut jam" instead. I never knew that kaya is called coconut jam. Kaya is a jam???

My weekend homework to-do list always seems to be morbidly long. Of course teachers gives us reasonable deadlines. However with all teachers giving deadlines, some a little earlier and some a little later than others, we end up having a packed week or so that is full of things to hand up.
I think a common feature in blogs of people our age is that our accounts of our normal daily lives are usually more glittery and glamourous than the truth, in varying degrees depending on the writer. Well i do that sometimes and there's nothing wrong with that i suppose, but after looking around some blogs it really amuses me. Not that their lives are not interesting, after all i cannot claim to know all the details about the things that happened to them and the emotions that went through them when they experienced the event. Just that the ways of description is simply so, similar, among all the blogs. All of them seem to scream "My life is sooooo exciting". But like i said, it's a common feature, and so there's really nothing wrong.
