They introduced some mysterious and exotic-sounding places like uh Sultan Road (cant remember) and inserted some scenic pictures of beaches. What really caught my eye was when the columnist gushed about kaya toast. Actually, the writer did not even write kaya toast, it was "bread with coconut jam" instead. I never knew that kaya is called coconut jam. Kaya is a jam??? LOL oh

I think a common feature in blogs of people our age is that our accounts of our normal daily lives are usually more glittery and glamourous than the truth, in varying degrees depending on the writer. Well i do that sometimes and there's nothing wrong with that i suppose, but after looking around some blogs it really amuses me. Not that their lives are not interesting, after all i cannot claim to know all the details about the things that happened to them and the emotions that went through them when they experienced the event. Just that the ways of description is simply so, similar, among all the blogs. All of them seem to scream "My life is sooooo exciting". But like i said, it's a common feature, and so there's really nothing wrong. Chinese New Year
There is really quite a lot of homework, which is annoying as i yearn to slack my Chinese New Year holidays off. The IH sia brings me ineffable agony each time i think of it. I have no will to start on it. I want to wake up every morning to warm light-yellow and white sunshine with peace and fulfillment in my soul and read charming vignettes of perfume, shampoo and breakfast cereal for pleasure. Haru Haru
I didnt find out much about the members of Big Bang, they just look emo in the MV too, with eyeliner and tattoos. Korean songs have the habit of adding some pieces of broken English into the lyrics, which can be quite a put-off sometimes but in certain songs they somehow bring out the meaning of the song pretty nicely. Super Show
Sungmin looks really cool and manly when he dances, unlike his usual cutie feel. Back
Hence i was down with a cold for the last few days. Decided to make good use of my time by reading the books written by Chinese modern literary giants I bought at the ShuCheng. Not that i have heard of all of these famous authors before my trip to Beijing, I rarely read Chinese books except wuxia. How sad, i should bow my head in shame. So thus begun my great attempt to widen my knowledge in this area. After that, i spent my whole day yesterday watching Super Show. As I discovered to my disappointment then, the bigbig ShuCheng does not have the DVD. Hence i have to be satisfied with the Second Album only. Super Show is totally fabulous. |
